“Lord” means to be the One in authority; to be the leader, master, proprietor, and ruler.
Kurios is the Greek word for “Lord” and it signifies the owner and One in power.
JESUS IS “LORD.”
At His birth the angel proclaimed that He was, “Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11
John the baptizer and forerunner of Jesus came to, “prepare the way of the Lord.” Matthew 3:3; Mark 1:3; Luke 3:4; John 1:23
Jesus, Himself declared that He was, “Lord even of the Sabbath.”Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5
Thomas acknowledged that Jesus is, “My Lord and my God!” John 20:28
On Pentecost, Peter confirmed that Jesus was, “both Lord and Christ.” Acts 2:36
Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit Paul penned that “Every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”Philippians 2:11
HAVE YOU CONFESSED THAT JESUS IS LORD?
Have you acknowledged your allegiance to Him? Matthew 10:32-33; Luke 12:8-9;

Have you embraced the blessing of sanctions and salvation through Him? Psalm 32:1-11; oel 2:28-32; Acts 2:14-21; 8:26-37; Romans 10:8-13; 1 John 1:9
HAVE YOU BOWED YOUR KNEE TO JESUS THE LORD?
The “Antichrist” refuses to bow because they do not believe. 1 John 2:18-22; 1 John 4:2-3;
2 John 7
The pride of many will not allow them to bow to any Lord including Jesus Christ.
Exodus 5:1-2; Mark 14:60-65; 15:15-20
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Proverbs 3:34; James 4:5-10
It was “PRIDE” that caused the devil to fall into condemnation. 1 Timothy 3:6
BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ACCEPT JESUS AS LORD.
All who bow to Jesus as their Lord will be benefactors of God’s blessings now and eternally!

TRUE BELIEVERS WILL GLORIFY AND HONOR JESUS AS LORD.
They will study His word so they become His disciples. Matthew 28:18-20
Upon hearing, knowing and understanding His word they will confess Him as Lord, repent of their sins and be baptized in His name to be saved. Acts 2:36-41
Once He has become their Lord they will follow His commandments taking up their cross and living for Him they will let others know that He is our Lord. Luke 9:23; John 14:15; Acts 8:4
